Saddlebag Baked Beans  (This recipe serves 8)

Beans

 

1/2 lb       cooked bacon
1/3 cup    chopped Vidalia onion
1 can       Bush's Baked Beans Original (16 oz.)
1/4 cup    barbeque sauce
3 Tblsp    honey
2 Tblsp    ketchup
1/8 tsp    salt
1/8 tsp    dried rosemary, crushed
1/8 tsp    dried thyme
1/9 tsp    Cajun seasoning
 

Cook the bacon as you desire:  soft or crispy
Place bacon and all other ingredients into a crock pot to heat.
If you need to eat'em faster you can cook on the stove.  Bring to a boil then let simmer for 10 minutes.

 

Notes:
Best if cooked the day before.
If you desire a thicker bean recipe then separate or drain bean sauce in can before placing in crock pot.
Add or change this to suite your tastes.  The possibilities are endless...
